First Appearance: #1.8 "Seven Minutes To Minight"

Final Appearance: #1.10 "Six Months Ago"

Location: Midland, Texas

Profession: Waitress at the Burnt Toast Diner

Known Relatives/Associates: Hiro Nakamura (friend; love interest)

Powers: Charlie possesses the ability to quickly memorize information. She demonstrated the ability by quickly learning Japanese, showing retention for her costumer's orders and credit card numbers and random trivia.

Character Biography: Beautiful, humble and soft-spoken, Charlene "Charlie" Andrews brought a smile to all her co-workers faces and clients as a waitress at the Burnt Toast Diner. During one of her regular days she met Hiro Nakamura and his companion Ando Masahashi whom she quickly impressed with her near flawless knowledge of the Japanese language, which according to her, she had only been studying for about 1 week. She explains to them that she recently started being able to 'remember lots and lots.' Through the course of their meal she befriends the pair never noticing the dark man in the baseball cap sitting in a corner observing her.

She and Hiro continue bonding and enjoy each others company as he helps teach her more Japanese which she quickly starts speaking fluently to him, further impressing Hiro with her ability. Soon after as Charlie goes to the store room she is attacked by the man in the baseball cap (Sylar) and her brain is removed. When Hiro hears of the scene he is determined to save his friend and goes back in time six months to April 24th, Charlie's birthday.

Here, he again befriends her and tries to explain to her that she is special and demonstrates his power by surrounding her in a thousand paper cranes for her to wish upon, without ever moving. The exact period of time they spend with each other is unknown but due to another waitress in the restaurant saying Hiro had disappeared several months ago, it's presumed that it was a decent period of time. In this time Hiro and Charlie become close and plan a trip to Japan together. Eventually Charlie confesses to Hiro that she's dying from a brain aneurism and that she loves him. As they are about to kiss, Hiro's powers are triggered and he returns to Japan, leaving Charlie behind.

Without Hiro there the timeline remains unchanged and Charlie again meets her fate at the hands of the madman, Sylar.
